Workforce Readiness and Financial Literacy
This program will offer resume writing skills, all the tools and resources for interviewing, professionalism. Furthermore, financial literacy will also be provided so that they are taught how to balance an account, and spending and saving money.
Self love/Self Acceptance
Through workshops and mentoring, the girls will learn the importance of embracing every part of themselves and their inner being.
Domestic Violence Awareness
In this program here are some questions that will lead the forum:
What are red flags?
How to safely report unhealthy and unsafe behavior?
How to heal from heartbreak?
Sex education/Puberty
While teaching abstinence will be the primary focus, sex education will also be discussed.
GED & Vocational Training
Leaders and mentors will assist girls with GED placement/testing prep if needed and explore vocational training and collegiate training upon request.
Parenting classes for teen moms
One on one classes or group classes preparing them for all stages of pregnancy, birth and parenting.
